I don't believe that a long distance relationship can truly be understood, except by those who have been or are involved in one. And unfortunately, it seems that too often friends and family don't show enough support, enough faith in this kind of love. This is a place to find support.

I've been in a long distance relationship for the past three years. And when I say long distance, I mean long distance. Three thousand miles to be exact. And these three years have been by far, the happiest of my life.

I hope to use this blog to document the progression of our relationship. The frustrations and often great loneliness that comes with being committed to someone so far away. But also the pure joy of love.
